An employee notified the store they were going to be out sick because of flu like symptoms but then came in that same day without taking a COVID-19 test, only to test positive for COVID-19 a week later.

1. District Manager told employees that we are not the mask Police and we are not to say anything to a customer who was not wearing a mask or incorrectly wearing a mask. 2. Co-worker caught COVID-19 within the establishment and Corporate told employees they were not... around the coworker long enough to have it. 3. Family Dollar is not doing enough to enforce social distancing or protecting employees from this deadly virus.

1. The employer failed to ensure periodic cleaning of the facility in accordance to CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic. 2. The employer failed to inform employees that they have worked with employee(s) who were sick with COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) within... the facility as in accordance to CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines. 3. Employees are exposed to health hazards associated with COVID-19 in that the employer does not screen employees for symptoms of the virus per CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines. 4. The employer is exposing employees to health hazards by failing to provide running water and soap in the restrooms.

The business is not following the CDC guidelines for Covid-19. On many occasions none of the employees are wearing masks despite this being a company and statewide policy. When this was mentioned to the staff it has been met with rude remarks.
