Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

There have been claims of harm to dogs after eating DreamBone treats. A 2016 lawsuit against the company stated the product contains Sorbitol as the third ingredient, which is classified by the FDA, as an indigestible sugar alcohol. The suit was dismissed after the parties settled out of court.

DreamBone Dog Treats

Updated: August 22, 2021 8:37 AM
I gave both of my dogs dream bones in the morning on Saturday. Saturday night we were heading to go out both the dogs have eaten their supper and had done their business. A friend of mine came over later to let the dogs out and my... See More little dog Twinkle was walking funny and kept laying down and breathing heavy. She did wipe her butt and found a little bit of blood. Within a half an hour the dog was dead See Less

I was cutting the dream chips and giving it to my dog when the scissors got stuck I look at one piece it did not seem to have anything but when I cut the second time the scissors didn't want to cut. Therefore I look onto the... See More piece closely and that is when I found the metal particles. I just hope my dog didn't consumed any metal prior of me looking really closely See Less

My dog had explosive diarrhea after consuming 1/2 of a dream bone stick…although I wasn’t sure the first time as he had eaten other treats as well that same day…last night I gave him the other half and it was the same exact thing. No doubt in... See More my mind that these caused this reaction. I will be calling vet in the morning. UGH what a horrible feeling | Symptoms: Diarrhea See Less

I gave my 2 dogs dream bone twist sticks and watched them both eat them and did not see either ingest a large chunk of the product. However, early the next morning one of my dogs became ill and began vomiting. He went outside and ate grass... See More so I assumed that maybe he just had an upset stomach but then researched further into this product after my dog again vomited large amounts of clear liquid and grass and read how dangerous these can be. I will be extremely upset if this product has done this to my dog or if it requires more care as far as a vet visit if his symptoms persist or even worse possibility. I do not recommend this product to ANYONE!!!! My dog still will not eat food now and it has been over 24hrs!!!! He is not remotely himself and I feel helpless. Dreambone should not be sold if you can not 100% guarantee the product is digestible and the fact that sorbitol is highly non digestible. | Symptoms: Vomiting See Less

Vomiting, diarrhea with bloody show, dehydration, and fever…at the vet now for immediate care. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Bloody Stool, Dehydration See Less

Yesterday I bought and gave my dog two dream one twist dog treats. A couple hours later he was acting sick. Head down, not himself. He's a very energetic blue Lacy so this is unlike him. Yesterday evening I noticed he was trying to poo but couldn't.... See More He refused his normal treats (not the dream bone but he gets blue buffalo bits after potty breaks) this was another red flag . My boy never turns down a treat.
All last night he was restless. It's now 10 am on the day after giving him the dream bone twists. He's still restless, can't get comfy, lays down then stands up then sits down with his head down. Won't eat, even things he normally loves. I've rubbed his belly and tried to comfort him. I let him out and walked him around a bit to try and help his bowels move along. Still nothing. He ate a bit of grass which is normal when dogs don't feel good. A bit later he started puking a massive amount and I could see alot of undigested dream bone in it. Those dream bones are the only new thing hes had and now he's really sick. I'm scared after reading about other law suites and issues regarding this product that my dog might have obstructed bowels from eating eat. I'm watching him closely and ready to take him to the vet as soon as I see if he's going to improve after puking or not. Vet visits are really expensive and if he needs surgery or declines further I'm going to raise hell. It's not okay for money hungry corporates to line their pockets while falsely advertising its products as safe knowing dam well it's killing beloved animals. My dog deserved a treat not a fight for his life. | Symptoms: Other, Loss of Appetite, Vomiting

He had been on rice/chicken diet for a week. I thought he was back to normal after diarrhea subsided. This was the only other item injested. Where can I send leftover bag to be tested for toxins? See Less

Dreambones have been a favorite treat for my dogs. Normally purchased them from Walmart where they are made in China. Found some at a different store for less money but they are made in Vietnam. These made all 3 of my dogs ill..with vomiting and diarrhea. I... See More pray they are OK. Vet could not get them in today. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less
