- Aptonia Vitamins and Minerals 30 tablets Orange flavour
- Aptonia salts caps 100 capsules
- Aptonia Electrolytes tablets Ecosize lemon flavour 2x20 tablets
- Aptonia Electrolytes tablets rasperry flavour 2x20 tablets
- Aptonia Electrolytes tablets lemon flavour 2x20 tablets

Although the consumption of the contaminated product does not pose an acute risk to health, there is an increased risk if there is continued consumption of contaminated food over a long period of time. Therefore, exposure to this substance needs to be minimized.

These products are listed in the table below. These products are being recalled after testing conducted by our firm revealed the presence of methanol (wood alcohol), benzene, and acetaldehyde. Risk Statement: Substantial methanol exposure can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system, or death. Although all persons using these products on their hands are at risk, young children who accidentally ingest the products and adolescents and adults who drink the products as an alcohol (ethanol) substitute are most at risk for methanol poisoning. Exposure to benzene can occur through inhalation, oral, and skin.

There is a reasonable probability that benzene present at levels above the maximum daily exposure recommendations can result in cancers including leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow and blood disorders which can be life-threatening. Additionally, animal studies have shown that acetaldehyde can possibly cause cancer in humans. To date, the company has not received any reports of adverse reactions related to this recall.

These products are used as hand sanitizers and marketed to help decrease bacteria on the skin when soap and water are not available. The affected bottles of hand sanitizer include a five-digit lot code printed on the bottle near the base. The products can be identified by the label, scent, and lot code provided in the table at the end of this release. Photos are also provided at www.scentsational-products.com.

Scentsational Soaps & Candles, Inc. has notified its direct customers by telephone with confirmatory email and asked that they remove the recalled products from commerce immediately if they still had any in inventory. Consumers, distributors, and retailers that have the hand sanitizers which are being recalled should stop using, distributing and/or selling them and return them to the place of purchase.

This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Moderna covid vaccine, 1st dose. Recieved 3/1/2021. 45 min after vaccine got an allergic reaction hives and red rash all over neck, face, throat swelled, and stomach pains. Took more benadryl and fell asleep. Woke up the next morning (day 2) about 630am itchy and red, took a regular antihistamines (1 a day) felt good till about 130pm rash started all over got chills, fever, body aches, felt heavy and tired and stomach pains as well as headache. Took tylenol and benadryl and tried to sleep. Next day (day 3) felt a bit better. Redness still appeared on chest, throat and face, throat feels scratchy and sore and still have a headache. Took a 1 a day allergy pill and felt better. At about 2pm had to take some benadryl. Bodyaches almost gone all the way and no fever or chills today. Throat still scratchy drinking lots of tea with lemon and honey and benadryl, tylenol, and allergy pills are my best friend right now. Waiting to speak with an allergen specialist in regards to this reaction. Most likely not getting a second dose. Stay safe out there and becareful if you get the vaccine.
