At about midnight on Wednesday, Jan 10th, about 44,699 customers in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties had lost electricity due to powerful winds. According to National Grid's outage map, in Jefferson County, 31,400 customers lost power. In Lewis County, 2,677 customers are in the dark. There are 10,622 outages in St. Lawrence County. The utility has no timeline for when power will be restored.
