A widespread power outage that resulted in some schools being closed early is estimated to be rectified by 12:30 p.m. According to the First Energy website, more than 3,400 customers in and around Keyser were without power Friday morning.

Due to Thursday night’s strong storms with high winds, multiple people through Ohio and West Virginia are dealing with power outages. According to AEP Ohio, Washington, Noble Meigs, Athens, and Morgan counties are seeing customers without power.
