Regulatory Report
2831 East Eastland Center Drive, West Covina, 91791 California, United States
T8CCR 3205(c)- Management at this store does not care about exposing employees to COVID-19. If a team member has been exposed, they are forced to work still as long as they do not show symptoms, though they could be asymptomatic. The reason that they are not allowed to go home is that the store will be understaffed without them, not caring if they expose others. A team member who was forced to work until they displayed symptoms tested positive recently, thus possibly exposing many guests and other team members in the store. Team members are allowed to work even if they have COVID-19 symptoms, if they do not wish to go home. At this store, there has been at least one positive COVID-19 case per week, if not more, since early November. If a team member tests positive, the other team members within that department are not told, even though they are working within the same section and touching the same items, possibly being exposed to COVID-19. The guest amount in the store is not being regulated at all, any amount of guests are allowed within the store if they please, even though we are supposed to be at 30% capacity of guests. Employees at this store are essentially being sacrificed for holiday revenue, even though we have expressed our concerns directly to the store manager and HR manager, they are ignored. The only solution that has been provided was to separate tables in the breakroom by about 3 feet, not even the recommended 6 feet. There has been zero responsibility or regulation at this store, it's genuinely ridiculous how many cases there have been at the store with no action or accountability afterwards. Some Team Leads have been understanding of our concerns but they cannot make the calls if the store manager tells them otherwise.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-12-07
