Regulatory Report
443 Bridge Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, 49504 Michigan, United States
1. A worker was sent home due to "feeling sick" on October 9, 2020. The employee returned to work the next day, without receiving a COVID-19 test of any sort, stating she had temped high earlier in the day (10/10). The employer proceeded to temp her at work and allow her to clock in because she temped under the COVID-19 fever temperature. As the day progressed the employee began to grow fatigued, looked ill, and was repeatedly taking breaks to go outside and cough. All members of management that were on the shift (a total of 4 members) were made aware of the employee's condition numerous times and refused to take action to send the employee home. The employee is still currently clocked in and working the front counter of the business handing pizza boxes to customers every couple of minutes, with no gloves of course. Not only is the employer irresponsible about properly screening employees daily, but they are refusing to send home a crew member who is showing more than 3 signs of possibly being infected with COVID-19Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-10-12
