1 On Saturday, 4/3/2021, the MJ Diamonds location was extremely busy and over crowded with customers and employees in very close proximity, many times less than 3 ft apart. 2 On Monday, some staff were notified of a positive case of COVID 19 on the permanent MJ
Diamonds staff. Some employees who were at that location but are permanently assigned to other stores within Fairlane Town Center were informed that they needed to be tested, but were not required to wait for test results prior to returning to work. The owner of the company stated that it is not their policy to require staff to remain off while waiting for test results. Employees are allowed to return to work as usual unless they receive a positive test result, regardless of the level of exposure to an infected person. However, an employee at XS Diamonds (the same company) was informed by that location's manager to remain home until the test results were in. 3 Staff are uncomfortable working with someone who was in direct contact with a colleague who had a confirmed case until test results were in. 4 The company has had multiple cases of COVID 19, including instances where infected staff were working while waiting for results.
