A large power outage hit Leesburg and Fruitland Park Tuesday evening after an electrical substation caught fire. The City of Leesburg reported there were 12,600 affected Leesburg customers without power. Officials added that there is no estimate yet on full restoration.

Employees exposed to silica during wet and dry concrete and cement batch processes are nor trained in the hazards associated with silica dust. 11. Employees doing quality checks on concrete pads by breaking the pad are exposed to silica dust and not provided with respiratory protection. 12. Employer does not have a hearing conservation program for employees working inside the plant and exposed to noise levels of 92 dBA. 13. Employer allows employees to use compressed air for cleaning at 135 psig. 14. Employer does not have a permit require confined space program when employees are required to enter in concrete mixers to remove concrete residues by scraping with bricking tools. 15. Employees performing maintenance on the conveyors are exposed to electrical hazards, in that, the employer does not have a lockout/tagout program and procedures. 16.
