Residents have reported a power outage affecting the University Park and Oakview Terrace area. The first outage was reported just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27. According to Duke Energy's outage map, about 756 customers are in the dark in northwest Charlotte. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. The estimated time of restoration is 1:00 p.m. A second outage is affecting the Concord area, near the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport.
