An estimated of 500 customers were affected by an outage including traffic lights in the Clanton Park and Sedgefield neighborhoods in Charlotte. According to Duke Energy’s outage map, power was restored to most of the customers in the area by 8 a.m.

Customers lost power this morning in southeast Charlotte. According to Duke Energy's outage map, the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Monroe Road near Wendover Road, and about 1,479 customers were without power. Power has been restored to the area.
