Power outages were reported in Southern Arizona following an intense monsoon storm Saturday afternoon, Jun 23. An estimated 4,000 TEP customers on Tucson's eastside lost power at around 2:31 p.m. As of 8:00 p.m., power was restored to nearly all customers. Another 4,000 were affected near Twin Peaks, and as of 8:00 p.m., power was fully restored. Additionally, a power outage impacted around 2,500 customers in Green Valley at around 3:35 p.m.
