Power outages were reported as thunderstorms swept across eastern upstate New York on Tuesday, leaving thousands without power in Warren County. About 5,000 customers were reported to be without power at 4 p.m., but the number had been reduced to about 4,000 shortly before 5:00 p.m. Several hundred utility customers lost service in neighboring Washington County and further south in Greene County approximately 1,800 customers lost power. According to the National Grid outage map, Jefferson County has 2,079 customers impacted.
