Detroit, Michigan, United States

Over 222,000 DTE customers were without power in the metro Detroit area. The largest outages were reported in Livingston and northwest Oakland counties with thousands of people without power in areas around Brighton, Wixom and Commerce Township. Thousands in the Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield areas were also in the dark. Widespread outage stretch into parts of Troy and Rochester Hills. Power outages are also scattered throughout Wayne County with the largest outages in the Plymouth-Canton, Livonia and Westland areas. Numerous outages were also reported across Detroit.
