According to Duke Energy's outage map, there are more than 100,000 customers affected in North Carolina as a strong line of heavy rain is moving through western North Carolina and the Upstate. The most affected county is Mecklenburg County with 60,912 customers affected. More than 50,000 customers are affected in Charlotte area. Crews are working to restore power.
