A power outage occurred this Thursday afternoon. Power is still out in downtown Alton and other areas of the Riverbend. Currently power is out at downtown Alton businesses like Mac's and the Hayner Library at both their downtown location and history center.According to Ameren Illinois, there are 3,346 customers without power. Alton has a total of 1,808 customers without power
