Approximately 200 customers were left without power due to an accident involving a single vehicle hitting a utility pole. This incident occurred around 4:30 PM on Friday, January 17 along Route A near Calvert Lane. Power was restored several hours later.
Thousands of customers lost power in Murphysboro, Illinois this morning, January 17. According to Ameren’s outage map, nearly 5,700 customers were without service as of 6:45 a.m. The reason for the outage is unknown at this time. Power has been restored to the area.
