Fpnl says that I owe them over 5000. When I have been shut off service for being 5$ short on my payment after service charge I didn't account for.. OK so about 2 years ago now they came and changed my meter, then a couple months go by and they change Mt meter again. So at this point I had to go stay with my dad while he was very sick. So we weren't here ended up being about 8 months during and after the three hurricanes but mostly Milton flooded our home and we were not a le to even stay, yet they still billed me an approximation bill every month even after they unhooked us from the pole. Because still their meters were not working. So after paying a couple thousand dollars they decided to put me on a payment plan for the rest just to get the power back on. I am a single mom with 3 kiddo's and I just needed to have power. So eventually I found out to ask for an account manager to help figure out this enormous bill. Which saddle did not help at all. The lady sat and heard every point and time frame for outrageous charges to which she denied me any compromise on any part of this crazy bill. Which mind you , I was not here and the service was turned off at the pole.. Please let me know if their is any help that I can get to make right what these monsters have put me through. I finally found out to request a case manager which did not help one bit. Literally did nothing but say I'm sorry to hear that, but because I didn't call and cancel the service that I was reliable for every months' approximate bill.. even after our home was flooded and we couldn't stay. Even after they had removed our wire from the pole. Even while we were away caring for a sick parent.. on top of thar they are charging me 68$ late fee every time I'm late on an astronomic bill. That I don't even owe. Please help
