1. Cardboard Bailer does not work properly; Employees are not trained to use this equipment; Employees bypass the safety features by switching it to manual when bailer is stuck 2. Individuals frequently leave broken glass in unlabeled boxes in the break pack area, and employees have been cut/ injured 3. Employees are not trained on dispose of chemical/ hazardous waste; Spill stations in the store have been unequipped. 4. Full palettes of freight are currently placed in every available location in the backroom, making it nearly impossible to reach equipment, occasionally hazardous waste materials, it is frequently difficult to use the cardboard bailer due to the amount of freight stored by it, and in many cases, it is hard to walk around palettes of freight in general. 5. Pieces of garbage and in some cases broken glass is left under steels. Spills and garbage (broken palettes, cardboard and plastic) is constantly littering the floors. Piles of broken palettes are frequently left in a pile on the floor in the backroom. (Location: Aisles and backroom) 6. Broken electrical outlet in the store backroom. (Location: Near cardboard bailer behind the steel shelving holding infant's overstock) 7. Employees clean hazardous waste spills, glass spills, etc. in abscense of training and personal protective equipment; Employees cannot locate personal protective equipment. 1910.132 8. Store is not being cleaned and sanitized. (COVID-19) 9. A member of management has video taped associates working on her personal phone without anyone's consent, and when this was brought to the attention of another member of management, they said, " she wasn't actually videoing the associates but was simply trying to intimidate the associates into working harder". The cap 2 manager shouts at employees in front of the whole team and humiliates them for errors etc. and uses people as examples constantly. Management uses scare and intimidation tactics to try and force associates to perform at a certain level or to comply with their opinions and decisions.
