After being sick for a week with lots of symptoms of COVID-19 I went and got tested Saturday. My results came back POSITIVE this morning..The first day started off I woke up at 7am back pain/joint pain from the moment I woke up.. thought it was from the workout I did the night before. I went about my day, noon hit and I started feeling incredibly nauseous. Chills and fever set in what felt like immediately. I went home and slept for six hours. I wasn’t feeling any better so I went to urgent care after I woke up and tested NEGATIVE for the flu. The second day I woke up felt the same, this time AWFUL pain all down my spine. I tried to put Doterra deep blue on my back, cried cause I was in so much pain. My body hurt to touch. Hurt to walk and move in any way. Ended up sleeping all day. By the third day pain went away for the most part BUT this time I woke up with a cold, stuffy nose, some phlegm, I noticed it was hard to catch my breath. I have asthma as it is so you can imagine how it added to the discomfort. I knew it was a common symptom so I went and got tested for the virus. The fourth and fifth day I still had a cough and stuffy nose still, it hurt to breathe. Slept A LOT.. again and lost all sense of taste. Six days in still no taste. chest pains when breathing in, stuffy nose went away.. still had a little cough but it was more dry than it has been. Late that night woke up gasping for air a couple minutes after I finally fell asleep, I instantly grabbed my inhaler calmed down and went back to sleep. One week (TODAY) I woke up to a call from the Dr and the test came back POSITIVE. I explained what happened the night before, he told me to come get my oxygen levels read and to obviously just stay in my car while he did that. Said I should have went to the hospital. I was prescribed medicine to treat pneumonia, and scheduled to do a chest X-ray if breathing/sickness doesn’t improve after taking the meds. At this moment I’m resting in bed (still). Going on one week of full isolation. This whole time I didn’t leave my house but to go to the dr (his request) where I sat in my car while he evaluated me. I’ve been answering a lot of important calls all day, along with questions pertaining to where I have been the past week. I’m very stressed and scared. Please just send good thoughts my way, and STAY HOME. Wash your hands and stay as healthy as you can. | Symptoms: Joint Pain, Gas, Chest Pain, Cough, Loss of Taste, Chills, Fever
