I feed my cats over 500 cans of food a month. I do rescue and foster. I am extremely familiar with what the food is supposed to look like.I opened several cans of Fancy Feast Flaked Fish and Shrimp Feast. It has a blue label.
The first can immediately caught me off guard. It smells sour and extra “fishy.” I decided to put it onto a plate where I discovered mold or some of their kind of growth that I have never seen in all of my years.
The meat itself was dark and discolored. My one cat (that eats EVERYTHING) said no way.
I had purchased eight cans to hold me up until my Chewy order came through.
Never again will I purchase that from Walmart. The remaining inventory needs to be immediately pulled and returned to Purina for testing.
