The water consumers from 197 North to Micaville in the Town of Burnsville, in Yancey County, are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a water line break near 447 East US Hwy 19E. The Division of Water Resources advises that when water is restored consumers should boil all water used for human consumption.
