Employees have tested positive for COVID-19 and have continued to work without being required to quarantine for 10 days or providing a negative test result. 3. The employer is not complying with the Governor's COVID-19 mandate in regard to sanitizing high-touch surfaces after each use. High touch surface areas are not being properly sanitized. 4. The employer does not have a hazard communication program in place. Employees are utilizing chemicals in the work with proper training. 5. The employer does not provide training to employees on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Employees are utilizing chemicals without being trained on the use of proper PPE. 6. The employer does not provide bloodborne pathogen training to employees. Employees were exposed to Other Potential Infectious Material (OPIM) and other bodily fluids while working at the facility. 7. Vacuums are not properly maintained. Some of the vacuums have cords that are spliced potentially exposing employees to a shock hazards. However, on December 30,2020, the employee was contacted by management and other employer representatives and directed to work at a different property. 2. The employer is not complying with the Governor's COVID-19 mandate in regard to employees quarantining after they return from out of the country. A manager returned from Mexico on September 1, 2020. On September 5, 2020, the manager returned to work in lieu of following the quarantine guidelines. 3. On November 24, 2020, a house keeper was directly exposed by a positive COVID-19 family member. When this information was communicated to MasterCorp Inc. management, they informed the housekeeper to return to work. On November 27, 2020, the controlling employer Marriott assessed the employee and directed the employee to leave the property in accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines. 4. Employees are concerned that the personal protective equipment provided for the purposes of sanitizing high-touch surfaces is inadequate and no additional protective equipment is provided.
