The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is a 2-dose mRNA vaccine developed along with BioNTech and has shown an efficacy rate of 95% in clinical trials. Side effects for the vaccine were mostly mild and included fever, fatigue, chills, redness and swelling. Two individuals did report allergic reactions.

I just got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. I had a rapid heart beat right after taking it but that’s probably because I don’t like shots in general. Also had a slight headache, and arm soreness where the shot was received. Other than that it’s been 12 hrs and I feel pretty good.  | Symptoms: Other, Headache, Soreness

My first dose of pfizer just caused a sore arm (not much worse than the usual flu vaccine side effects); second dose caused a sorer arm developing into more general muscle aches and overall fatigue. Regardless: glad to know my immune system is activated!  | Symptoms: Fatigue, Muscle Pain, Soreness
