Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

There have been claims of harm to dogs after eating DreamBone treats. A 2016 lawsuit against the company stated the product contains Sorbitol as the third ingredient, which is classified by the FDA, as an indigestible sugar alcohol. The suit was dismissed after the parties settled out of court.

DreamBone Dog Treats

My 12 year old dachshund has had diarrhea for 5 weeks. I found pieces of undigested Dreambone twist while cleaning up one of the earlier messes. After three vet visits, a X-Ray and different medicines, nothing has helped to stop the chronic diarrhea. She has lost weight... See More because most of what she decides to eat soon comes out one end or the other. It is so sad. | Symptoms: Diarrhea See Less

My 80 pound GSD has been up all night vomiting after eating one or possibly 2 dream sticks . She’s now lethargic which is not like her at all . Bought from Amazon not that it matters but never again ! Poison for dogs - can’t believe... See More they’re still on the market after all I’m reading. Gave my dog - German Shepard Greta - one dream stick ( chicken , white with red stripes) 2 hours later she began vomiting yellow stuff . She vomited 8 times through the night and is now lethargic . She’s usually a ball of energy . | Symptoms: Vomiting See Less

My Chihuahua has been having diarrhea and pooping more than usual. The first couple nights I thought it was just an accident because we didn't let her out on time but it's been too many nights in a row and she had this garbage everyday. I realized... See More it must be this sh*t then I saw others post and complaints. How is this sh*t still on the market!? I'm furious!! So many people claiming the same things and/or worse and the class action suit got dropped? Fuck that don't buy dreambones. If they won't stop selling it then I will tell the whole world to stop buying it. | Symptoms: Diarrhea See Less

My 3 year old Cocker Spaniel suddenly developed chronic bloody diarrhea, including having to go outside to poop up to 10 times a day, including 3-4 times in the middle of the night. My vet did a stool examination that did not reveal a cause for it,... See More yet it persisted for about 10 days. He lost quite a bit of weight, I was getting really worried. A friend warned me about the DreamBone chews that I had recently purchased. I stopped giving the DreamBones and my dog returned to normal stools in about a week. | Symptoms: Bloody Stool See Less

We have lost our second baby, Pixie to dog treats made by Spectrum. They are responsible for Dream bones and Good n Fun. When we lost ChaCha we started to inquire on the dog food and treats we where giving our pets. Especially after all of them... See More fell ill. After research and comparing symptoms we learned our dogs had been poisoned. The vomiting and diarrhea come first. The neurological symptoms follow. Lethargy and flopping to one side. The the loss of the ability to use the back legs. The blood coming from the bowels and mouth. The amount of suffering so many furbabies have gone through are indescribable. I reported the illness to Good n Fun and Dream Bones. Still no explanation or response for why this is happening. Check the ingredients in your dog food and treats. The top three ingredients should not contain sorbitol. The FDA classified it as a laxative. The ingredients should be natural. I will not stop until the FDA regulates our products for our pets. Nobody else should have to go through what our family and many other families have experienced. No other pet should have to lose their life to in such pain and agony. We have lost two babies and the other two are under care from our veterinarian. I shared ChaCha’s report. Pixie, passed away at the vet 10/02/23. My daughter held her while she convulsed and she is traumatized. Justice for ChaCha and Pixie!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

I had given my Yorkie(13 yo) and my Pomeranian (6 yo) a dream bone on Saturday 10/14/23. By that evening, both dogs started with diarrhea. By Sunday evening both dogs had multiple episodes of diarrhea and my Pomeranian started vomiting. And I neither dog would eat or... See More drink Sunday and most of Monday they both had multiple episodes of diarrhea with my Yorky having bloody diarrhea. They were both lethargic, but my Yorky was more lethargic than the Pomeranian, and as she slept, she was whining in her sleep. By Monday evening, my Pomeranian started drinking again and ate a couple kibbles of food. My Yorky did not drink again until Tuesday morning. She finally drank some beef broth. Neither dog has had a solid bowel movement since Saturday but they are starting to get better. I thought I was doing the right thing and giving them dream bones instead of rawhides and needs dream bones almost killed my babies | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Bloody Stool See Less

We have been giving our dogs these treats, being advertised as a healthy alternative to raw hide. Our oldest female Chihuahua became ill on a Thursday evening. We contacted our vet and where advised to monitor her behavior and change her diet for twenty four hours. She... See More was vomiting and would not eat. Then diarrhea came. It was very bloody and had yellow in it with mucous. She was panting and trying to hide. The next morning her symptoms had become more severe. Our vet suggested we take her to an emergency hospital. Her kidney’s where failing and she was in diabetic shock. We where told with her age and symptoms she had a 5% chance to make it. She passed that morning. She was over 15 years old. She was part of our family. We trusted Dream Bones to be safe, do not be deceived!!! They are not safe and the FDA should start holding these companies accountable. There are no regulations on pet foods or treats! We should do better. Our furbabies deserve better standards. These bones poisoned all of our dogs and caused death in one. The company that markets these did treats need to be held accountable. Laws need to change and our pets need to be protected! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Bloody Stool, Mucus in Stools See Less
