Avion Pharmaceuticals, LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of its Prenate Chewable prenatal vitamins due to undeclared soy and incorrect labeling of boron content. The product was distributed to several states, including AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, KY, MA, MO, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, and VA in the United States.AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Prenate Chewable, a chewable prenatal vitamin with a chocolate flavor
- Packaged in 30-tablet bottles.
- The recalled lots include
Lot 2402036 / With an expiration date of April 2026
Lot 2402036A / With an expiration date of April 2026
Lot 2412020 / With an expiration date of February 2027.
- The UPC code is 3 75854 30630 2
- The recall affects 804 bottles.
The issue was discovered following positive test results for soy, which is not listed on the label, and a labeling error indicating boron content as 250mg instead of 250mcg per serving. The recall, classified as Class III, was initiated on October 29, 2025, with classification on December 3, 2025.
