Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Ector County Utility District public water system to notify the customers within an affected area to boil their water. The affected area includes Swan, Tripp, and truck stop according to ECUD.

Construction at Tripp Avenue and 16th Street caused a water outage for the Ector County Utility District on Monday.

Because of the outage, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required ECUD to issue a boil water warning for these area.
