A reported power outage by Duke Energy on Thursday has 675 customers in the Southern Pines area without power. The area of southeast Southern Southern Pines near the Southern Pines Country Club and into parts of the downtown area are reporting power outages.

The employer is requiring employees wear N95 respirators while working with and near COVID-19 positive patients, however the employer is not performing fit testing. The respirators are not fitting employees properly.
