Meijer is not enforcing the wearing of masks. Contractors, customers, and employees can often be seen without a mask. This is seen on a daily basis. When concerns about this are brought to management and HR, nothing is done to fix the problem.

The non-union call center employees were sent home as well. These employees work under a different department and management. Because employees are union, the Covid Preparedness and Readiness handbook doesn't apply per management and labor relations. Michigan Medicine had emails going out, stating that anyone who can work from home do so and if one is currently working from home, this date has been extended to September 2021.
