1. Employees are experiencing symptoms of illness due to unknown chemicals from containers being unlabeled (spray bottles) of chemical(s) for cleaning of wheel chair seats and pads. 2. Employees are exposed to health hazards from overwhelming odors of aerosol glue at the foaming workstation due to a
lack of adequate ventilation. 3. The employer is not providing adequate ventilation when requiring employees to use paint thinners, cleaning chemical(s) and to control fabric fibers generated at the CNC autometrix fabric cutter. 4. Employer has not conducted hazard communication training for employees using cleaning chemical(s). 5. Employer does not provide adequate personal protective equipment (gloves and respiratory protection, available for employees using cleaning chemical(s), aprons. 6. Employer does not provide employees with masks or aprons when requiring employees to cut a variety of fabrics. 7. Employees are exposed to respiratory health hazards due to excessive dust generated from foam cut by multiple bandsaws. (The violations exist in the sewing department at the pad printing station, the individual sewing stations, the M8 CNC fabric cutting station, and the foaming station located next to the sewing department) Applicable OSHA Standards: 29 CFR 1910.133, 1910.132, 1910.134, 1910.1200
