Recieved an unsolicited package today of a GRA moisanite ring. I have no idea who sent it or from where? How did they get my name and address, from what site. No info on package giving any details to return. Will I later find I'm charged for something I didn't order?
03/08 update: I have since discovered that the package arrived at the same time as tracking said an order was delivered. The company was a Facebook sale offer clothing items from - YYJO#2LOVE*****. When I confronted the company with photo evidence of the exact time of delivery which corresponded to that in their tracking this was their reply. They have accepted they sent the wrong goods. Dear Customer. I am sorry that I did not reply to your message in time. After carefully verifying the order information you provided, we can confirm that we arranged a quick shipment for you based on the content of your order after we received your order. After your parcel left our warehouse it was sent to the forwarding center of the logistics company. The logistics company has a lot of parcels every day and the courier is very tired, and some errors may occur with thousands of orders. Due to an error by the logistics company, your order was mistakenly addressed with another customer who bought a ring. The product you purchased was given to another customer. I am sorry for not providing you with a satisfactory shopping experience. Due to this low price promotion, our company is also facing a huge economic crisis. We are now unable to pay for the expensive return and resend orders. But we also sincerely want to compensate your loss, and our company offers you a solution: you can keep this ring as compensation, no need to return it, and we will refund 30% of your total order amount. They have refused to send out my correct order unless I pay additional postage, and also stated the items are no longer available!! It has taken several weeks and they have pushed keeping as compensation a cheap fake ring which doesn’t even have a hallmark on the metal and I very much doubt has a genuine stone. They have refused to send prepaid postage for it’s return and I do not trust them refunding if I pay this upfront. I have had to accept a 70% refund and keep the piece of tat only fit for the bin. The common tactic from Chinese companies offering 30%, then, 40% and time wasting til eventually I will get 70%. I very much sense this has been a deliberate scam from the start and I don’t buy the sob story. Expecting a customer to pay for their admitted errors is disgraceful. Hope this information will assist others.
