Damaging winds within heavy thunderstorms that rolled through the area on Monday 17th afternoon left trees down and hundreds of homes without power.

Power companies report the number of homes in the following counties without power:
Yates: 754 NYSEG customers
Monroe: 300 RG&E customers
Ontario: 568 RG&E customers
Livingston: 381 National Grid customers
