Due to an outage, nearly 2,000 Unitil electric customers were without power on Wednesday. The outage occurred between 5:45 and 6 a.m. and is mostly centered in the West End, North End, and West Concord. On its outage map, Unitil initially stated power would be restored by 10:30 a.m. Around 7 a.m., the company reported a bird had made contact with equipment.
