Power outages have been reported throughout the Heartland as a winter storm moves through Wednesday morning, January 25. As of 6:30 a.m., thousands of customers are without electricity in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives: Bollinger County: 2,627 customers, Butler County: 1,435 customers, Cape Girardeau County: 332 customers, Carter County: 2,236 customers, Madison County: 2,899 customers, Reynolds County: 2,033 customers, Ripley County: 682 customers, Stoddard County: 55 customers, Wayne County: 4,388 customer. Association of Illinois Cooperatives: Jackson County: 150 customers.
