Power was restored in Ka‘ū where 1,749 Hawaiian Electric customers were without power. Crews are still working to restore power in the Kohala Districts. More than 1,700 Hawaiian Electric customers in Ka‘ū are without power as of 11:40 a.m. The outage is impacting customers from Kapāpala Ranch to just past South Point Road area.
