Nearly 400 homes are without power Wednesday afternoon. As of 3:00 pm, PPL says 398 homes are without power in the east end area of Girardville, through part of Butler Township, and into Lost Creek in West Mahanoy Township. The outage occurred when a truck knocked down a few poles and wires along Route 54/Connorton Road between Girardville and Lost Creek.
