National Grid has reported multiple widespread outages following a round of strong thunderstorms Thursday afternoon. More than 2,000 customers are without power as of 4:00 p.m. in the area spanning from Eastwood in Syracuse out through East Syracuse. The estimated duration time is about 7:00 p.m. Another large outage is impacting customers between Otisco and Tully. national Grid reports about 800 customers without power there. Estimated restoration is about 5:00 p.m. Earlier in the afternoon, about 1,500 customers were without power in Fayetteville and Manlius. That outage appeared to have been restored.
