With heavy, wet snow falling -- and greatest accumulations expected on the Tug Hill -- nearly 3,000 customers were without power in Lewis County as of around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Lewis County outages were concentrated mainly in Croghan, Greig, Lewis, Leyden, Lyonsdale, Port Leyden, Turin, Watson, and West Turin. They are also more than 300 without power in St. Lawrence County,the outages are mostly in the towns of Hermon, Piercefield, and Russell.
