A power outage is scheduled for Jeff Davis Electric Co-op’s Johnson Bayou Substation on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Parish officials said the substation requires an emergency repair. Work will start at 9 a.m. and is expected to last around four hours. Officials said all co-op members west of the ferry will be affected.
