Cleco Power reported power outages impacting about 1,214 customers in their service area on Thursday afternoon May 2nd. According to the outage map, the most affected area is Alexandria in Rapides Parish and surrounding areas with about 1,000 customers impacted. It’s unclear what prompted the outage. Crews are working to safely restore power to the area.
