I bought a jacket and within one minute I received a postage label saying the item has been posted which it made me suspicious as it would not be physically possible to prepare the order. I quickly checked online and I have seen negative reviews, so I got back to the seller. I could see the message has been read, but no response given. I asked to cancel this order, but my request was ignored. I have contacted Vinted and hopefully this will be resolved quickly. The seller has been blocked now - his member name is patrakupapz. I can imagine there would be more accounts open.

The same thing! Bought items from Vinted user ineskyaide a week ago - posted immediately allegedly with the same tracking number and postal address as above but of course this number doesn't exist in Track and Trace. Vinted say they don't investigate missing parcels until 25 working days since they are posted which takes me into October! Don't understand the scam as the money won't be released to them. They must be phishing for names and addresses which is worrying.

thats needs to be solved same bought and fake tracking number made with photosohop we will see how vinted handle this

Literally just happened to me. Honestly don't see the point unless it's to get names and addresses. The profile is now blocked but will have to wait for a refund 😕
I had the same to me same tracking number replied to message instantly as was on Vinted they read but no reply so have informed them
Same just happened to me. I’m so annoyed as I usually never fall for these things. Delivery note immediately sent at 7am on a Saturday and now they’ve removed the listing and blocked themselves … I’ve reported it to Vinted but I’m going to ask my bank to block the transaction now too.

I had same on vinted 5am they sent postal receipt then they was blocked , I’ve received a refund but still worried as they have my address.
Same thing happened to me today on Vinted! The warehouse is a short distance from where I live and I will be paying them a visit today!

UPDATE, visited adress and they had no knowledge of my order or the company using their address. It was a fake tracking label, because they checked on their computer. Well at least they are aware now that someone is using their company address to scam people!

That’s the exact same Royal Mail tracking I received yesterday through Vinted, I can’t even get a refund yet, even though they have now been banned
Just had this happen to me. Clicked on buy now, for a pair of boots and immediately I was sent a picture of a Royal Mail shipping label with my name and address on it. I thought it was strange how they acknowledged a label so soon while stating package sent. After 3 days, I contacted Royal Mail to query delivery and tracking code on label, but was told there were 10 digits instead of 9 on it… (one digit too many), so it must have been a fake one. The seller, meanwhile, immediately became blocked on Vinted and my purchase photos all disappeared, but one. Only the one confirming my purchase remains. I also have Vinted confirmation e mail as proof. Have reported them to Vinted and will visit my bank today to seek their advice, as the money has come out of my account. I hope I will get a full refund.
