Description of complaint: The establishment has pathways which are uneven with asphalt being pushed up by roots causing a tripping hazard for employees. The floors inside workspaces are uneven, and pose a tripping hazard to employees working inside the buildings. 1. The employer did not ensure that the pathways in which employees use to traverse the property are free from dangerous depressions, obstructions or debris. Ref T8CCR 3273(b). Structures that are in disrepair which may cause collapse. Cement enclosure is lined with gasoline containers. Paint thinners, chlorine, muriatic acid, gasoline all stored in the same location. 2. The employer did not ensure that incompatible chemicals where stored in such a way as to be separated by distance, or by partitions, dikes, berms. Ref T8CCR 5164(a). Description of complaint: Rats are in the animal pens which the employees are required to clean up. Including inside buildings employees work in. 3. The employer did not ensure that the business is maintained, insofar as is practicable, to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents. Ref T8 CCR 3362(f). Description of complaint: When it's dark there is no lighting for employees to egress out of the facility. 4. The employer did not ensure that where natural or permanent lighting is insufficient to secure employees safety while walking the pathways of the establishment that portable lights be provided. Ref T8CCR 3317(b). Description of complaint: Employees are exposed to the public who are often not wearing proper facial coverings. 5. The employer did not develop and implement effective procedure's to minimize employees exposure hazard to the public who are not wearing proper facial coverings. Ref T8CCR 3205(c)(7)(F).
