1. The employer does not follow CDC Guidelines regarding informing employees of potential exposure to COVID-19 by an employee suspected or confirmed of having COVID-19. Not informing employees of potential exposure to COVID-19 puts other employees at risk. The employer does not follow CDC guidelines for increased cleaning and sanitizing of the facility after employee(s) have tested positive for COVID-19. Applicable OSHA standard(s): Section 5(a)(1) General Duty Clause of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 3. Employees in the facility are exposed to COVID-19. The employer requests employees who have tested positive, or who believe to have been exposed to COVID-19, to return to work without a 14-day period of self-quarantining as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Applicable OSHA standard(s): Section 5(a)(1) General Duty Clause of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 4. The employer does not enforce CDC Guidelines regarding wearing face masks. Employees are not wearing face masks in the establishment potentially exposing other employees to COVID-19.
