A boil water order has been issued to more than a dozen communities after a water main break in Benton, Illinois. According to The Rend Lake Conservancy District (RLCD), the water main break occurred on Sunday. The leak was reportedly found in Benton on the water transmission line which serves multiple communities in Franklin and Perry counties.
