Parts of Acadiana are experiencing water woes that have led to boil water advisories. Acadia Parish: Due to ongoing construction, there was a temporary loss of water services in the Town of Church Point. A boil water advisory is in effect for the entire town until further notice.Lafayette Parish: The Water System has experienced problems with the water supply system due to a waterline break. The customers affected are those along Catholique Road between Equipment Lane and St. Esprit Road in Carencro.
