Une panne de courant a été signalée à Manhattan Beach, à Brooklyn, le lundi 29 avril au matin, privant des centaines de clients d'électricité après qu'un semi-remorque a percuté plusieurs poteaux téléphoniques et détruit des lignes à haute tension. L'accident s'est produit au 1315 Oriental Boulevard vers 10 h 30. Environ 382 clients ont été privés d'électricité dans le secteur.
