Asthmatics who think they might have/have had coronavirus: I first had symptoms three weeks ago. Shortness of breath, sore throat, mild cough, aches and fatigue. My asthma started getting much worse than it’s ever been in my life. I exercise, I’ve been generally healthy and pretty good at using my preventer inhaler, so there was no obvious reason for such a fast deterioration of my breathing. I struggled for 2 weeks, taking my reliever (blue) inhaler to control the worst of it and it mostly worked Until last weekend, when I started having to take it three, four times a day. Never in my life I had to use my inhaler more than twice in the same day. It coincided with the time I lost my sense of taste too, which makes me believe the Rona did get me. I tried to be stoic - I thought it might get better. I didn’t want to overburden my GP and I most definitely didn’t want to go to hospital. And that was, well, stupid. It didn’t get better, I was slowly getting worse. Yesterday I struggled to get out of bed. I finally called my GP yesterday. The good thing was that I didn’t have any other symptoms anymore. Only fatigue and shortness of breath. The bad news is that I have to take oral steroids and pray that they will help to relieve my symptoms. And I’m still unwell.2 weeks ago •reported by user-cfdg6856
