1. In the previous 6 weeks, the plant has had approximately 3 deaths associated with COVID. Alongside of the deaths there have been numerous hospitalization of management officials who have contracted COVID with some manager being placed on a ventilator. 2. The entire building is not being
properly cleaned and disinfected due to a lack of oversight by management to ensure accountability of the custodial staff who performs the cleaning. 3. Management no longer ensures contact tracing is being done to notify employees of possible/potential COVID19 exposures so employees can possibly quarantine and seek testing. The issue is accountability, the mail and the mission of moving mail has become primary over the loss of life or potential loss of life.

Management failed to do a contact tracing after an employee informed the Tour 2 MDO that their child had Covid. The employee informed a union steward that the MDO instructed them to go back to work. It was relayed the employee tested positive. None of the employees
in the work area where the affected employee worked were told to self-quarantine. Thereby, putting everyone else at risk. The area/s were never disinfected.

The employer is not providing adequate protection for employees who are at risk of contracting COVID-19 at work where employees have tested positive in that:

2) Employees are allowed to comingle in very close proximity to each other in the breakroom.
3) Throughout the facility, equipment, machines, and other surfaces that are used by multiple employees throughout the shift are not sanitized between contact by different employees.
4) Management is not ensuring that housekeeping personnel are effectively cleaning surfaces on a regular basis throughout the facility, especially following the report of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the work area.
5) Management is not contact tracing or notifying employees in a timely manner of potential exposures that may have occurred at the facility based on suspected cases or confirmed reports of COVID-19 positive employees.

Aruba Aloe Balm N.V. is voluntarily recalling 40 lots of Aruba Aloe Hand Sanitizer Gel Alcohol 80% and Aruba Aloe Alcoholada Gel to the consumer level. The products have been found to contain alcohol denatured with methanol. Products were distributed between 5/1/2021 and 10/27/2023 and sold in
the US online only via the Aruba Aloe Balm N.V. website. To date, Aruba Aloe Balm N.V. has not received any reports of adverse events related to these products.
Aruba Aloe Hand Sanitizer Gel is used as a sanitizer to help reduce bacteria that potentially can cause disease and is packaged in 12 fl oz (355 mL) dark green plastic bottles with white label reading in part “ARUBA ALOE Hand Sanitizer GEL 80% Alcohol Made in Aruba World’s Finest Aloe”, with barcode 0 82252 03300 5.
