The employer is not providing adequate protection for employees who are at risk of contracting COVID-19 at work where employees have tested positive in that:

1) Management does not ensure that housekeeping personnel sanitize surfaces in the breakroom adequately or frequently enough considering the numerous employees who utilize the area at the same time and throughout the shifts. Cleaning supplies are not made available for production employees to use for sanitizing the breakroom before touching surfaces that have been contaminated by other employees.

2) Employees are allowed to comingle in very close proximity to each other in the breakroom.

3) Throughout the facility, equipment, machines, and other surfaces that are used by multiple employees throughout the shift are not sanitized between contact by different employees.

4) Management is not ensuring that housekeeping personnel are effectively cleaning surfaces on a regular basis throughout the facility, especially following the report of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the work area.

5) Management is not contact tracing or notifying employees in a timely manner of potential exposures that may have occurred at the facility based on suspected cases or confirmed reports of COVID-19 positive employees.
