Multiple users report scams linked to Instagram purchases: items never arrive, or what’s delivered looks nothing like what was advertised. Victims describe ordering LEGO sets, strimmers, or clothing based on polished Instagram ads but end up receiving dollar-store items, knockoffs, or nothing at all. Products often arrive from unknown names like “Strimmer Online” or “Ordered Merchandise USA,” and seller accounts vanish after payment.

They had a ad for an item I really needed on Instagram. Didn’t find out until after I made the purchase that it was really a scam. Made this purchase 3/3/23 for $49.97. Unfortunately I haven’t received my funds back but I hope my mistake can help someone prevent this.

We ordered what we thought was an electric go kart off an Instagram Ad. Instead we received a counterfeit pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. The Invoice has zero contact information.
